    Error bars of a size that follows a rule: a fixed amount, a percentage of each value, a number of standard deviations, or the standard error.

    Type Declaration

    • Optional Readonlydirection?: "both" | "plus" | "minus"

      Which way the bars go from each point: both ways, or only towards higher values ("plus") or lower ones ("minus"). Default is "both"

      • Readonlytype: "fixed"

        The same amount at each point

      • Readonlyvalue: number

        The amount, 0 or more

    • { type: "percentage"; value: number }
      • Readonlytype: "percentage"

        A percentage of each point's value

        The percentage, 0 or more

        A number of standard deviations of the series' values, from their average

        How many standard deviations, 0 or more. Default is 1
